Our partner is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to reinforce their compliance team. This renowned production company, located in the Port of Antwerp, within the chemical sector is internationally active and has a strong focus on its customers, integrity, and innovation.
Your responsibilities?
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will work in an innovative environment, and you will be responsible to ensure compliance with the product safety regulations for the produced and sold products. Your duties consist of wide range of different activities:
- Preparing SDS’s and labels
- Submitting and obtaining product and substance registrations
- Performing periodic reviews and evaluations to validate compliance with the applicable regulations
- Provide guidance and training to internal and external customers
- Contribute to the development of regulatory recommendations and decisions
- Follow the latest news, updates, and changes in the regulatory field
- Work closely together with other departments to implement business regulatory programs
- Review product compositions to assure compliance with control agencies
Who are you?
To successfully execute these tasks and responsibilities, as a Regulatory Compliance Specialist you will possess a master's degree in chemistry added with several years of experience within regulatory affairs. You have a strong knowledge of the EU regulatory laws (REACH, TSCA, EURASIA, etc.). In addition, you have excellent communication skills in English and a basic understanding of Dutch. Furthermore, you are a team player who can easily work independent. Finally, you are willing to travel occasionally to international locations.
