Our partner in Bruges region is part of an international Corporation and employs over 200 engineers and they are currently looking for an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their team and strengthen their workforce.
Your role?
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be part of a Hi-Tech environment!
Your job responsibilities will consist of a range of diverse activities:
- Create validation plans and execute internal and third-party hardware testing
- Develop and maintain test equipment to support validation and later manufacturing
- Provide support to internal teams and EMS provider
- Write and review test reports to document validation results
- Support testing with an extensive set of SW toolings, some of which are maintained by you
- Occasional travel to support our manufacturing provider
Who are you?
To successfully carry out the above tasks and responsibilities, as an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or equivalent experience with C-programming or similar programming languages. Experience in an automotive context with electronics design/testing is preferred, as well as knowledge of OEM automotive validation requirements/procedures and experience with sensor/wiring applications. EMC analysis & testing experience and mechatronics experience are assets.
You have a fluent command of English, both verbal and written, and possess excellent communication skills. Additionally, you have a structured way of working with an eye for detail, strong problem-analysis & problem-solving skills, and a practical, hands-on attitude. You have experience managing external suppliers, and you are open to (inter)continental travel.
