R&D Scientist
Scope of work:
As Scientist you will mainly support neuroscience drug discovery programs and will be involved in a pooled CRISPR screen with single cell RNA-sequencing read-out (Perturb-seq) in iPSC-derived neurons.
Profile:
- You have a PhD in cell biology, molecular, genetics or related biological life science
- You have 4+ years 4+ yars hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs)
- You have experience cell line engineering using gene editing techniques (CRISPR/Cas systems)
- You have knowledge standard cellular and molecular biology techniques, including transfections, viral transductions, immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR),
- You know Quantitative Reverse Transcription PCR (RT-qPCR), western blotting.
- You have excellent organizational and time management skills
Nice to have:
- You have experience with assay development and high-throughput screening
- You have experience with single-cell RNA sequencing
- You have background in neurodegenerative disease
