Project Engineer Sustainability

What are your responsibilities?
The Project Engineer will be involved in various sustainability related efforts for our partner Clinical manufacturing Unit.
Key responsibilities are:
- Identify, evaluate & follow-up different (potential) sustainability projects for the Clinical manufacturing Unit.
- Collaborate and communicate with different departments within the company and external parties to collect necessary information & data on sustainability projects.
- Contribute to tools that enable the assessment of the environmental impact of different options when making business decisions
- Ensure that new facilities and new processes within the Clinical Manufacturing are designed or operated to ensure sustainable manufacturing.
Who are you?
- Master with relevant scientific discipline or equivalent, preferably with prior manufacturing related experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hands-on (engineering) mindset with a strong personal affinity for sustainability
- Able to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams & to interact with different stakeholders
- Flexible, can thrive in a dynamic environment
- Can think both high level/strategic and at the same time be hands-on when doing data collection or preparing & executing tests/analyses
- High sense of personal ownership towards sustainability
- Willing to understand the end-to-end pharmaceutical (aseptic) manufacturing processes
- Strong data management skills
- Basic programming skills (Excel VBA/…)
- Fluent written and oral knowledge of English
