CMC development Business Analyst
Contracting – Walloon Brabant
Your Responsibilities:
- Analyze laboratory workflows and translate them into configurable templates in the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN – IDBS)
- Define, test, validate, and deploy ELN templates in line with GMP standards and internal SOPs
- Participate in validation documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
- Support change management by providing user training, onboarding, and facilitating adoption
- Conduct regular reviews of existing templates to ensure they meet evolving user needs
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Business Analyst and integrate into a cross-functional team including PMs, application managers, and offshore developers
- Prepare data mapping for lab activities to support the data analytics team
- Ensure data integrity and alignment with the company’s data architecture and analytics standards
- Build strong stakeholder relationships through business insight, active listening, and on-the-ground engagement
Your Profile:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a lab environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals or biotech
- Strong knowledge of biotech manufacturing workflows and laboratory operations
- Hands-on experience with ELN or LIMS systems (preferably IDBS) configuration or implementation
- Skilled in workflow mapping and process diagramming
- Familiarity with GMP-compliant environments and validation processes
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
- Able to proactively challenge user requests and ask the right questions to refine needs
- Comfortable working in a digitally evolving organization undergoing transformation
- Excellent soft skills: diplomatic, credible, and a confident communicator with stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience in data mapping or data mining in customized systems
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for tracking testing and feedback
- Background in analytical lab testing or chemical industry processes
