Main Mission

The Technical Sales Engineer supports business development, sales, marketing, and technical projects aimed at international institutional clients (public tenders). He/she is responsible for technical pre-sales, designing complex solutions, and supporting the client throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into comprehensive technical solutions (hardware and software).
  • Develop technical responses to tenders (RFP, RFI, RFQ).
  • Design proposals that meet operational, technical, legal, and commercial requirements.
  • Present the company’s solutions during demonstrations, trade shows, negotiations, and client training sessions.
  • Monitor project delivery and identify opportunities for extensions or expansions.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific technologies.
  • Manage technical suppliers and subcontractors (prequalification, negotiation).
  • Conduct market and competitor monitoring.
  • Write and edit proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), and technical reports.
  • Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with other departments.

Required Skills

  • Engineering degree (electronics, telecommunications, radiofrequency, IT, mechanics, Electricity).
  • The position requires an experienced M/F Senior Systems Engineer with profound experience and passion for thorough analysis and proposal preparation in reply to customer RFP, RFQ, RFI.
  • Proven experience in technical pre-sales with advanced technology companies, preparing and supporting the sales of high value solutions to institutional customers.
  • Proven experience in technical customer facing, including preparing and managing offers and responses to high value RFP, customer presentations & demonstrations; PDR, CDR, acceptance tests, customer trainings, delivery
  • Proven experience in prequalifying, negotiating with and managing technology suppliers and subcontractors for the integration of advanced technology solutions.

Languages

  • Excellent command of English and French is mandatory.
  • Other languages appreciated: Dutch, German, Arabic.

  • Strong capacity for self-learning.
  • Good communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office.

Administrative Conditions

  • Nationality: European Union.
  • Ability to obtain EU/NATO security clearance (existing clearance is an advantage).
