For our partner specializing in metal flow engineering, we are looking for an automation engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automation systems to meet worldwide customer-specific needs. You will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of automation solutions.
What are your responsibilities?
- Design, programming, and troubleshooting of automation systems, including PLC programming, sensor integration, and network configuration.
- Conduct engineering analysis and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team to develop and integrate robotic automation solutions.
- Perform equipment testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Master's degree in Automation Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in robotics and mechatronics projects.
- Willing to travel up to 30% of your working hours (ex: commission the equipment at customer location)
- Experience in TIA portal programming
- Knowledge of robotics engineering and programming is a must.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English
