For our client specializing in the energy sector, we are actively looking for a Senior Equipment and Skid Design Engineer.
Your Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer, you will play a key role within the design office, working closely with your colleagues. Your main tasks will include:
- Performing sizing calculations (mechanical, thermal, and fluid dynamics).
- Designing pressure equipment.
- Developing thermal solutions by analyzing system behavior.
- Preparing detailed functional specifications for the products to be designed.
- Collaborating closely with CAD designers to create detailed drawings of individual parts and assemblies.
- Researching material solutions and innovative technical concepts to improve equipment performance, durability, manufacturing, and assembly.
- Writing technical specifications for purchasing and manufacturing key components.
- Participating in the technical validation of suppliers, including the inspection of raw or finished parts, and adjusting drawings and quality control instructions as needed.
- Contributing to the setup of validation tests in partnership with the supplier network, including mechanical property testing.
Your Profile
- Engineering degree with a focus on mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, or fluid mechanics.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills in a dynamic project environment.
- Ability to prepare technical documents (RFQ).
- At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design within a design office.
- Knowledge of international standards.
- Hands-on field experience in the industrial sector, ideally in energy-related technical projects.
- Proficiency in CAD and FEM software, as well as the MS Office suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent communication skills in English.
