For our client specialised in the automotive sector, we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist – Automotive.
Your mission is to deliver unparalleled safety, performance, and cost-effective solutions for the customers in the realm of winter complete wheels and tyres.
The tyre and winter complete wheel programs are covering several markets in Europe and our partner has the ambition to further grow these businesses in Europe.
The team is responsible for defining business and products strategies, implement them and manage the product lifecycle in collaboration with the National Sales & Marketing Companies (NMSC), suppliers, IT, R&D, Purchasing and Parts Supply Chain Group (PSCG).
Your responsibilities
- Supply management
- Collect and study forecasts from markets
- Build production and components supply plan to enable a successful WCW (winter complete wheels) season without supply shortages
- Set and monitor supply management KPIs and escalate when critical situations arise
- Closely work with suppliers, PSCG and NMSCs to mitigate risks
- Customer relation management
- Handle markets questions considering them as your customers
- Propose, define and implement a structured customer relationship management methodology and system
- Set and monitor CRM KPIs in order to identify areas for improvements and propose counter measures
- Closely work with the team, NMSCs & suppliers to exceed customer needs & dreams
- Actively implement kaizen to reinforce learnings, processes and overall effectiveness of the programs by developing standards & tools including automation
Your profile
- You are fluent in English
- You take ownership for the assigned responsibilities with a positive mindset
- You proactively communicate and deliver results in an autonomous manner
- You hold a (masters) degree in economics, engineering, IT, business or related field
- You have experience in implementing supply management or customer relationship management methodologies and tools
- You have experience in the automotive sector, preferably in tyre related fields
- You have experience facing customers and building collaborative relationships
- You have experience in handling high quantity of data and numbers with Excel, Access, VBA, Power BI, Power automate, Python or other similar tools in order to create automated workflows, reports, calculation sheets etc.
- You have experience in problem solving methodologies (TBP, 8D) and continuous improvement methodologies (PDCA, kaizen, DMAIC)
- You have experience presenting complex problems in a simple manner based on facts, data and clear logic, while adapting to your audience (A3 report)
- You have experience using an ERP system (NPA, SAP, Oracle etc)
- You have some experience in project management
- You know basics of lean manufacturing (TPS)
- You have experience working in a team and dealing with various stakeholders
- You have the willingness and flexibility to travel for business needs
