IT Software Manager
We are looking for an IT Software Manager to oversee and coach multiple software development teams across different business domains. Working closely with existing Team Leads, you will help strengthen collaboration, align engineering practices, and ensure smooth delivery cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support development teams, fostering growth, performance, and effective teamwork.
- Ensure consistent delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment, with regular iterations and high‑quality output.
- Define and improve development processes (SDLC) and best practices in coordination with the local IT organization.
- Prioritize, plan, and distribute workloads while monitoring progress and deadlines.
- Collaborate with Architecture to convert business needs into clear technical designs and documentation.
- Partner with QA to define functional test scenarios and validate engineering deliverables.
- Establish and maintain coding standards and engineering guidelines.
Profile
- 5–10 years of hands‑on software development experience in OO programming, including exposure to APIs and legacy systems.
- At least 4 years of experience as a technical lead managing teams of ~10 developers.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, modern engineering methods, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Full‑stack background (e.g., C#/.NET, Delphi) with solid Agile delivery experience.
- Ability to translate company objectives into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Experience in Life Insurance is an asset.
- Familiar with quality‑driven engineering: documentation, unit testing, code reviews, automation, CI/CD.
- Fluent in French and English.
