Your responsibilities?

As a passionate technical expert in Power Electronics, you play a key role in building and maintaining the engineering teams core knowledge in the field of Power Electronics. Your responsibilities are:

·       Explore the market for e-motors and their power electronics concept, performance & reliability

·       Define requirements and architecture of the power electronics for our electrified projects

·       Simulate vehicle power requirements based upon the e-motor concept

·       Contribute to the development of advanced and model-based control methods

·       Are focal point for power electronics technical discussions with cross-competency teams and customers

·       Lead the integration of the power electronics on the vehicle considering all aspects (thermal/EMC/performance/…)

·       Support the analysis (e.g. FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, …), verification, issue resolution and validation (e.g. EMC and environmental) during the development phase

Who are you?

For you to be able to perfectly execute the responsibilities of a Development Engineer Power Electronics you preferably have a master’s degree Electro-Mechanics or Electrical Engineering. Familiarity with electric/hybrid vehicles and/or their applications is a plus. Because you work in an international environment you are independent and assertive but also a real team player, have good communication skills and possess good knowledge of English. You have eye for detail and work in structured & qualitative way.

Knowledge of simulation tools, power electronic strategies for driving electrical motors & battery management are an important asset!

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

Als Production Quality Engineer ben je de spilfiguur naar analyses over uitval binnen de productie.
Jouw takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • Je reageert op proactieve wijze naar uitval zowel intern als bij de klant.
  • Je analyseert de afgekeurde stukken, stelt 8D actieplannen op en denkt mee om deze systematisch op te lossen. Vanuit jouw gedegen product- en proceskennis leg je snel het verband tussen oorzaak en gevolg.
  • Je bent actief betrokken bij het continu verbeteren van de productieprocessen met het oog op minimaliseren van productfouten.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de SQA engineer om snel een oplossing te vinden voor klachten die herleid worden tot leveranciersfouten.
  • Je rapporteert aan de Production Quality Team Lead.
     

Jouw profiel

Om de verantwoordelijkheden van een Production Quality Engineer uit te kunnen voeren, beschik over een masterdiploma Elektromechanica of ben je gelijkwaardig door ervaring. Je hebt bij voorkeur ervaring in een kwaliteitsomgeving met kennis van flowcharting, FMEA, CP, 8D, ishikawa en IATF 16949. Daarbovenop beschik je over een analytische geest en over goede communicatieve vaardigheden met een goede kennis van het Engels.

Kennis van meettechnieken wordt aanzien als een pluspunt!

As a Test Engineer, you will be testing and validating newly developed high-tech mechatronic systems, using different developmental test benches. You are part of our Test Lab Team and will report to the Test Lab Team Lead. Your daily tasks:

·       Perform increasingly complex tests on prototypes and pre-series parts.

·       You take ownership for all phases of the testing process to reach a successful outcome.

·       You will analyze and discuss the results with the development team.

·       You are involved in both the development and preparation of the tests and in the development of high-end test bench systems.

·       You support the assembly of test components and set-ups needed to perform the tests.

Who are you?

For you to be able to perfectly execute the responsibilities of a Test Engineer you preferably have a master’s degree Electro-mechanics or Electronics with a strong interest in Mechatronics. You are good at modelling physical events. Because you work in an international environment you are a real team player, have good communication skills and a good knowledge of English. You are strong in analytics and problem solving and you possess a critical mindset.

Experience with MATLAB is a plus!
