Your Mission
The Senior Systems Engineer role focuses on business development, sales, and project management for international institutional clients within public tender processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Technical Pre-Sales Support: Identifying clients’ technical needs, tracking market and competitive trends, defining solutions, and preparing commercial offers.
• Design and Development of Complex Solutions: Leading analysis, definition, design, integration, testing, and support of systems in the defense and security sectors.
• Technical Expertise (SME): Providing end-to-end technical expertise and serving as the subject matter expert for certain technologies.
• Relationship Development: Building strong relationships with clients and OEMs, participating in marketing events, and anticipating purchasing cycles.

Your Profile

• Education: Engineer in electronics, technical sales, mechanics, or electrical engineering.
• Technical Experience: Strong background in the design, integration, and implementation of integrated HW/SW solutions.
• Skills: Knowledge in electronics, radiofrequency, telecommunications, and IT.
• Pre-Sales Experience: Experience in technical pre-sales, analyzing tenders, negotiating, and managing suppliers within advanced technology companies.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages like Dutch, German, or Arabic are advantageous.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Personality: Capable to work under pressure, prioritize, stay organized calm and focused.
• Nationality and Authorization: EU citizenship with valid work permit and residence visa.
• Nice to Have: Knowledge of PLC/HMI, radar and RF systems, digital communications, day/night optical solutions, 3G/4G/5G communications.

• Être garant de la qualité des études (techniques) afin de garantir la sécurité, la qualité et l'efficience des réseaux.

The proposal engineer sell products and services by using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to develop technical proposals. Upon receipt of the Request of Quotation, the proposal engineer develop innovative solutions that fulfill the requirements of the customers, lead negotiations with customers to identify and agree on technical requirements and close a signed contract. His/her goal is to meet sales and technical targets while complying with corporate guidelines for price/margin, schedule and design accuracy

Your responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Managers with the preparation of presentations, qualification documents and sales materials for potential customers
• Do market research to identify current and potential customer needs and develop effective applications of products and services
• Analyses the technical specifications of the tender and highlights relevant information to define equipment and services. 
• Responsible for the preparation and the assembly of the technical offer including the definition of the performances and guarantees, the definition of the scope of supply and services, the verification of overall layout and process P&ID, the definition of Technical clarifications and deviations to the call for tender. 
• In charge of the negotiation with the client for the preparation of the technical documents and the final contract
• Coordinates and manages, with the assistance of the appropriate departments (electrical, mechanical, thermal, process, instrumentation, quality control …), all bid preparation and bid strategy activities to satisfy technical optimization, estimating, scheduling and risk management requirements.
• Assures the quality of the proposals by reviewing and evaluating the proposals with respect to company requirements, contract issues and business risk. 
• Identifies and manage the risks
• Assists management in the coordination of resources such as engineering, sales, drafting/design and estimating to develop a technical and commercial proposal that complies with company standards and meets the needs of the customer

Your profile

• Master's degree in Engineering
• Minimum three years' experience related to mechanical, HRSG, boilers or energy
• 5 year's experience in implementing capital goods projects in the energy field
• Must be able to effectively read and understand mechanical, electrical and process drawings
• Fluent in English. French is an asset
• Knowledge of building machines and mechanical and thermal processes
• Proficient with Excel (spreadsheets, charts/graphs, macros)
• Ability to explain and defend technical solutions and proposals in front of potential customers
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Gifted with a strong and autonomous personality and interested to work independently, in a multinational environment and in liaison with our team in Belgium
