For our client specialised in the energy sector, we are actively looking for a Project Engineer – Power Grid.
Your Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects across high and medium voltage networks (36 kV to 380 kV).
You will play a key role within the Engineering department by ensuring the technical consistency, quality of designs, and successful implementation of projects, working within a multidisciplinary team.
The department is focused on overhead lines and towers for connections between substations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Project Delivery
- Contribute throughout the full project lifecycle: feasibility study → design → execution → closure
- Support the definition and development of technical solutions and project scope
- Perform and/or oversee various technical studies
- Anticipate the impact of technical decisions on project operations and ensure proper implementation
Coordination & Collaboration
- Work closely with: Project Leaders (responsible for project organization), fellow Project Engineers, design teams and technical experts
- Act as a key interface between technical stakeholders and project management
Quality & Design Oversight
- Guide design teams during the detailed engineering phase
- Ensure studies are delivered in line with: defined scope, quality standards, technical requirements
- Monitor progress and report on project status
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electrotechnical, Automation, Energy) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electricity grids is a strong asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Languages: Fluent in French, Good knowledge of English, Good understanding of Dutch
