Your responsibilities:

For our client specialised in the construction sector, we are looking for an Electrical Engineer for the construction of a Data Center.
Role Overview
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems on the project. The role requires close collaboration with project management, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure that all electrical works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and issue technical submittals, drawings, and method statements for approval.
Provide engineering support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Coordinate electrical works with other disciplines (civil, mechanical, structural, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
Monitor on-site electrical works to ensure compliance with design, safety standards, and best practices.
Support procurement activities by preparing material take-offs (MTOs), technical evaluations, and vendor assessments.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and resolve technical queries.
Ensure compliance with project schedules, cost controls, and reporting requirements.
Contribute to health, safety, and environmental compliance, ensuring safe systems of work are implemented.
Provide input to project close-out, as-built documentation, and lessons learned reports.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Professional accreditation (Chartered Engineer or working towards it) is desirable.
3–7 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably in utilities, substations, energy projects, or large-scale M&E installations.
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, protection, and control equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards (IEC, BS, EN, IEEE, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM, or other electrical design software is an advantage.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and delivery.
